What I love most about my local needlepoint shop? The accessories.
If you know me, you know I have a slight obsession with gear. Any kind of gear. Back when I was running, I once showed up to a 10K carrying every accessory a runner could possibly own. And don't even get me started on golf. My golf bag probably weighs 50 pounds, but how am I supposed to leave behind my monogrammed golf towels, extra gloves, lucky ball markers, and every gadget known to mankind?

When I walk into my favorite local needlepoint shop, I make a beeline for the accessories section, especially when I absolutely, positively cannot justify buying another canvas. (Or at least that's what I tell myself.)
One accessory I not only love but genuinely can't live without is a needle minder. These magnetic little lifesavers come in every shape, color, and theme imaginable. They attach to the corner of your canvas and give your needle a secure place to rest between stitches, saving you from digging through project bags, couch cushions, and car seats in search of a runaway needle.

What Is a Needle Minder?
A needle minder is a small decorative magnet that attaches to your canvas and provides a secure place to rest your needle when you're not actively stitching.
